The Avaya J100 Wireless Module is an optional plug-in hardware module that adds Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity to compatible J100 Series IP phones. It provides WLAN connectivity for the J129 and J159 IP phones, and both WLAN and Bluetooth headset connectivity for the J179 and J189 IP phones. Ideal for deployments where wired Ethernet is unavailable—including pop-up locations, trade shows, retail environments, and work-from-home setups.

The module supports 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual-band Wi-Fi with enterprise-grade security including WPA2-Enterprise, EAP-FAST, and PEAP-MSCHAPv2. On the J179 and J189, Bluetooth 4.2 enables wireless headset pairing for hands-free communication. Requires J100 SIP 2.0+ firmware for Wi-Fi and J100 SIP 4.0+ for Bluetooth; not supported with H.323 firmware.
