The Poly RD-1 EHS Cable (85R71AA) provides electronic hookswitch functionality for ShoreTel, Toshiba, Adtran, and Allworx desk phones when paired with Poly wireless headsets. This ring detector sends an audible alert to your headset when the phone rings, allowing you to answer and end calls remotely without returning to your desk.
The RD-1 eliminates the need for an HL10 handset lifter on compatible phones with native headset hookswitch control. A 3.5mm port on the inline module allows connection of an optional Online Indicator Light (OLI) to signal to colleagues when you're on a call.
