The BYOD pack combines the Icron Ranger 2311 CAT5e USB extender with the Acroname USBHub3+ intelligent USB hub. The Ranger 2311 extends USB 2.0 connections up to 100 meters (328 feet) over standard CAT5e/6/7 cabling, enabling flexible room layouts where the presenter table can be positioned far from the equipment rack. The USBHub3+ provides automatic host switching—when a guest laptop connects, USB peripherals instantly transfer to that device without any manual configuration.
Designed for Microsoft Teams Rooms environments, this kit eliminates the complexity of BYOD setups. Users simply plug in their laptop and begin presenting with full access to professional-grade Poly audio and video equipment. When the laptop disconnects, peripherals automatically revert to the in-room Teams Rooms PC, ensuring seamless transitions between presenters and scheduled meetings.
