The phone connects via a single 10/100 Ethernet port and supports IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet for simplified installation, or can be powered using a 1151D1 power supply. Voice quality is delivered through G.711 and G.729a/B codecs with QoS support including DiffServ and 802.1p/Q tagging.
Compatible with Avaya Communication Manager 1.1+ and Avaya IP Office, the 4601+ integrates seamlessly into existing Avaya environments. The compact, wall-mountable design with included desk/wall stand makes it ideal for space-constrained locations. Hearing aid compatible and featuring downloadable firmware for future upgrades, this phone delivers reliable IP communications where a display is not required.
